Figment

Figment is a unique action-adventure game set in a surreal, dreamlike universe in which players control Dusty, a cranky character who inhabits the recesses of the mind and must help take out the intrusive thoughts that have started to arrive and spread fear.

Figment begins with a cinematic in which, out of shot, a child can be heard talking to his parents as they travel in the car. A few seconds later, a screech will lead us to understand that there has been an accident, and that is when we head into the strange world of Figment, a place created by the subconscious mind of this child and that, as a result, alternates familiar elements with others that are purely dreamlike. Here we meet Dusty, the main character, and Piper, his friend, who will encourage him to get up from his chair and fight against the fears that begin to intrude.

As for Figment's mechanics, they are not overly complicated: at the bottom left of the screen you will find a virtual D-pad, while on the right there are action buttons that allow you to interact with the objects around you.

Figment is unique, completely different from the kind of games you might be used to playing on Android. The setting and soundtrack are, without a doubt, some of the strongest points of a video game that, through a universe full of metaphors, helps you to put the struggle against intrusive thoughts and depression into perspective.
